This book explains what frameworks are, how they fit into actual applications, and why we need them during application development. The book concentrates on the Simplified Application Framework, or SAF, an implementation of a framework built by Xin Chen for .NET applications. The book also talks about the design patterns used as readers are going through each of these framework components. Finally, a sample B2B application that is built on top of SAF is presented as a case study at end of the book. This provides a demonstration of how the framework can be used in readers' own applications.
